Meet Dr. Jorge Peralta
Dr. Jorge (pronounced George) Peralta grew up in
Carson City, Nevada. He attended the University of Nevada-Reno, where he
studied Biochemistry. Because of his exceptional academic achievements as an
undergraduate, he was granted early acceptance into Columbia University, one of
the nations most elite dental schools.
After graduating near the top of his dental school class, Dr. Peralta received his orthodontic training at the University of Colorado Health Science Center. During his residency, Dr. Peralta trained under many well known leaders of the orthodontic profession. He became proficient with the latest technological advances in dentofacial orthopedics including, but not limited to, Straight Wire Appliance, Burstone Mechanics, Roth Mechanics, MBT Philosophy, Alexander Principles and Invisalign.
Dr. Peralta is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Washington State Society of Orthodontists, Washington State Dental Association, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, and Seattle-King County Dental Society. Additionally, he is bilingual and speaks both English and Spanish fluently. He is committed to the Burien community and is involved in many local school and charity fundraisers, including the Burien Brat Trot! In his spare time, Dr. Peralta enjoys painting, photography, golf, baseball and walking his two english bulldogs.
